The Nat Funk All Stars
Original Hard Rock Funk from New York
Band Overview
The Nat Funk All Stars were formed by Nat Funk around 2004 following the dissolution of The Mutha Funkas. As the band’s leader, primary lyricist, arranger, and composer, Funk plays bass, guitar, Hammond organ, and Fender Rhodes, while programming all MIDI instrumentation, drums, and percussion, occasionally incorporating loops and samples. A rotating roster of guest musicians and hired players joins the lineup for live performances and studio recordings when Funk is not performing solo. Beyond traditional releases, the band has composed and produced original scores and sound cues for various Off-Broadway theatrical productions and indie films.
